Phantom Pathway

"Phantom Pathway" - A mysterious figure (apparition?) is shown emerging from a tunnel that seems to come directly out of the canvas. Note that the faceless figure has a doppelganger (which has facial features) floating directly behind it. While the meaning of the painting is open to interpretation, I'm using this composition to show that an artist uses illusion to reveal important truths.
