Plaything shows a figure that can suggest many things -- a question mark, a violin, a fetus, or an exotic plant. The figure is playing with a large orange ball, and the scale could be everything from a small living room or something on a cosmic scale (is the orange ball the sun?). So many questions...and the answers are up to you.
