Waiting in Line - This mixed media piece (Pen & Ink, Pencil) was inspired by observation of a row of weathered pilings from an old dock. The pilings / posts were the only  things left of it. The scene reminded me of people waiting forever in a line...petrified wooden figures frustrated and frozen in time. I introduced the suggestion of anguished faces on the posts to reinforce the theme.
